Here’s a clean run-down of major upcoming UK music festivals for the rest of 2026, from June onward. This is not every village field with a speaker and a dream, but it covers the big, useful, blog-worthy ones.
Quick note
Glastonbury is not happening in 2026. The official site says the next Glastonbury will be 23 to 27 June 2027, because 2026 is a fallow year. Tiny mud kingdom closed for land recovery. Sensible, but rude. (Glastonbury Festivals)

Download Festival runs from 10th to 14th June 2026 at Donington Park. It is the obvious pick for rock, metal, punk and alternative fans. The official site calls it the UK’s premier rock festival, with a large line-up and extra activities beyond the bands. (Download Festival)
Good for: metalheads, rock fans, alt crowds, people who own more black clothing than sense.
Isle of Wight Festival
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from 18th to 21st June 2026 at Seaclose Park, Newport. Its official line-up page lists the dates and location, with Radio X reporting Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris and The Cure as headliners. (Isle of Wight Festival)
Good for: big-name music, pop-rock variety, festival-goers who want heritage without going full Glastonbury mud goblin.
TRNSMT

Parklife

BST Hyde Park
BST Hyde Park returns across several dates from 27th June to 12th July 2026 in London. The Royal Parks listing includes headline dates for Garth Brooks, ATEEZ, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull and Lewis Capaldi. (The Royal Parks)

Latitude Festival

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival

Good for: Scottish festival atmosphere, families, outdoor music without the mega-festival scale.
Boardmasters
Boardmasters takes place from 5th to 9th August 2026 in Newquay, Cornwall. Its FAQ confirms the dates, and the official line-up page lists names including Fatboy Slim, Lily Allen, Kasabian, The Kooks, Loyle Carner, Nia Archives, Ren and Tash Sultana. (Boardmasters)

Boomtown

Good for: immersive sets, bass music, theatrical worldbuilding, people who enjoy entering a festival and accidentally finding themselves in a dystopian carnival subplot.
Green Man
